Lea holds an MA in Development Studies from the International Institute of Social Studies (EUR) and a BA in European Politics from the University of Groningen. Before joining AIGHD, Lea has worked as a researcher and practitioner in the humanitarian field where she focused on refugee livelihoods in Europe and Southern Africa. Lea is interested in the intersections of global health research and social sciences and will be bringing this comprehensive perspective to her work as Project Manager.
