It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Professor Ogobara Doumbo, AIGHD’s WARRiOR consortium leader, on Saturday, June 9, 2018.

Ogo inspired us all. His passing is an incredible loss to his extended family and his friends, his colleagues and staff at Malaria Research and Training Center (MRTC), the scientific community as a whole, and Mali.

We will miss him dearly. Our thoughts are with Ogo’s family and friends and our colleagues from MRTC and the University of Bamako.
