AIGHD is a co-organiser of the upcoming 3rd City Health International Conference to take place November 3-4, 2014 in Amsterdam.

Catherine Hankins, who represents AIGHD on the organising committee, will chair 'Urban health responses – making the links across sectors' on Tuesday, November 4th from 09.15 – 10.45h. Steven van der Vijver will present 'A novel cardiovascular prevention program in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya' from 11.15 – 12.45h that same day in Parallel session #4 'Innovative health interventions in an urban context'.

The third International City Health Conference, hosted by AIDS Foundation East-West (AFEW) and the Trimbos Institute, organised by Knowledge•Action•Change, will take place at the Casa 400 Hotel, in Amsterdam.

Good news for students wishing to attend City Health 2014. Thanks to a small grant made to the conference, they are now able to offer a special delegate registration fee for students to attend. The discounted rate is €100 and applies to those in full-time education.
