On March 26, One Health meets Global Health at a science & business symposium featuring both prominent researchers and private parties.
Current One Health issues with an international component will be discussed by Constance Schultsz of the AIGHD, Wim van der Poel of the Central Veterinary Institute (CVI) and Paul Klatser of the Royal Tropical Institute (KIT).
After the coffee break, several business models in emerging infectious diseases will pass in review. Birgit Makoschey (MSD Animal Health) will elaborate on the Castellum project and the critical successfactors involved in successful public private partnerships, Claire Boog (Intravacc) will discuss the One Health and Global Health developments within Intravacc, whereas Paul van Aarle (GALVmed) shares challenges and experiences that are at issue in product development for developing countries.
In closing, successful approaches and lessons learned will be discussed. Scientists, entrepreneurs, representatives from companies within the One Health and Global Health sector and other professionals are welcome to attend this symposium where they can meet and discover new collaborations and business opportunities.
